RingMagic is the trademark of a phone case designed for one-hand usage of large screen smart phones. RingMagic one-hand-use phone case has three rings for finger insertion on its back so as to hold the phone safely in user’s hand when using the phone with one hand, thus ensuring the user to reach the farthest part of the screen with the thumb.
Background
As the phone screen is becoming larger and larger, one-hand use of the smart phones becomes difficult. Although there have been many embedded Apps that are designed for one-hand usage of the large screen phone, there still some issues when using these apps. For example, grasp of the phone in hand cannot be secured due to short fingers. When touching the screen with the thumb while grasping the phone with other four fingers, the thumb is not long enough to reach the distal part of the corners of the screen. If only placing the fingers on the back of the phone without grasping to achieve reachability of the thumb, the phone will fall easily, especially in cases where there are many people around you. In many situations, one would need to move their dominant hand between one's keyboard and mouse or if the typist makes notes while using one hand for another task. Under this background, there is a need for device for reliable one-hand use of large-screen smart phones.
How it works
The three rings of RingMagic phone case ensures safe holding of your phone in your hand when inserting the first knuckles of your fingers and thus allows you to reach the farthest parts of the screen, without worrying about drop of the phone. Besides, RingMagic has a semi-surround design, which makes it movable lengthways for adjust the reach of the thumb. By using RingMagic, one can use large smart phones (phones with more 4.7” screen, such as iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 6S, iPhone 6S Plus, iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus) completely with one hand.
Shift between left-hand mode and right-hand mode
Due to the semi-surround design, it is very convenient to shift from the left-hand mode to right-hand mode by withdrawing the phone from the case, turning the case 180 degrees and pushing the phone in the case.
Other uses
RingMagic can be also used as a phone stand having two standing angles of 65°and 25°, which is very useful in video watching and text reading situations.
